Marihuana Adultry Rastafari Christafari
Mo(h)re
FROM THE CRC
ARCHIVE ON CHRISTAFARIANISM |
| The
following article is an edited version of a
Message Board posting at the REASONING ROOM:
"Mark Mohr, in his many descriptions
of his "Being a Rasta", says that
his Rastafarianity consisted out of "sacramentally
smoking marijuana". Further research
led to the overstanding that he means with
this: "smoking a joint while saying the
words jah rastafari in surf session"
(really)."

Why Mohr seeS critique on Christafarianism
as personal
FROM THE CRC
ARCHIVE ON CHRISTAFARIANISM |
| The
following is an excerpt of the follow-up for
"The Essay". The text is not
checked for spelling and may be altered in
the final release.: "I know from
several “inside sources” how Mark Mohr
totally freaked out after he read my book.
It wasn’t about the contents, though. He
even had to admit to his direct associates
that it “contained some truth”, although
he called other parts “crap”."

Motivation for the postings etc (by Messian
Dread)
FROM THE CRC
ARCHIVE ON CHRISTAFARIANISM |
Many
people ask why i Messian Dread) do what i
do. In short: Christafari asked me to do
just that.
After all, exposing television preachers
with dreadlocks riding on the bandwagons of
the entire Evangelical and Rastafarian
communities is not exactly my daily
occupation.

"CHRISTAFARI

"CREATING A NEW CULTURE AND A NEW
CHRIST"
FROM THE CRC
ARCHIVE ON CHRISTAFARIANISM |
How
can the church reach post-Boomers? Not by
emphasizing biblical truth, says Biola
exhibit
Fifty years ago, Richard Niebuhr famously
identified five different beliefs Christians
hold about engaging culture. Now, it seems,
two Southern California professors are
creating a new Christ and Culture for the
postmodern age. And a lot of Christians
aren't going to like it.
