Board posting at the REASONING ROOM
Mark Mohr, in his many descriptions of
his "Being a Rasta", says that his
Rastafarianity consisted out of "sacramentally
smoking marijuana". Further research
led to the overstanding that he means with
this: "smoking a joint while saying the
words jah rastafari in surf session"
(really).
He CLAIMS:
I began praising "Jah
Rastafari" in my daily surf sessions
and attempting to justify my daily sacrament
of weed with the Scriptures
Now in interviews he said he hated reggae at
first and it was only because it
"justified marijuana" that he
started to "like" it. He had to
develop a love for Reggae, it wasn't in him
as a natural fact.
It was a root of another kind that
first attracted Mohr to reggae. "From a
musical perspective, I hated reggae at
first," he admits. "What really
drew me to it was that it justified using
marijuana. But, as I listened more, I
started to like it."

That is heard the minute you put on
christafari music. Only the dubsoundpower CD
comes a little bit in the area of true
Reggae. Thank you, JIM FOX! The rest is all
commercial nonsense or not even reggae at
all. One can't deny that.
Christafari's "reggae" is as
authentic as christafari's description of
"rasta"!
It's not the real thing, christafari, it is
the commercial thing.
Why is this important?
For Mark Mohr, smoking marijuana was the
reason why he played reggae music. He said
"it justified my smoking". Reggae
is his connection to marihuana. Whenever he
listens to it, or plays it, he is doing a
surrogate weedsmoke. It's his way of smoking
weed without smoking weed.
At first it was his way of smoking weed and
be a christian (he calls that
"Rasta"), now it is his way of
being a christian still smoking, without
actually smoking it (he calls that
"Mission Trip").
I know a Rasta who doesn't smoke herb. I
know this Rasta for many years and have
reasoned with him many times in private
since 2002 or so. Mark Mohr also knows this
Rasta. He has planted a church with this
Rasta in Trinidad. The fact that this Rasta
doesn't smoke herb is more important for
Mark Mohr then the fact that he is a Rasta.
Now why would Mark Mohr plant a church with
a Rasta, who makes no secret about how he is
going to start the "Rasta House Of The
Messianic Order"? Why does Mark Mohr
have no problem with that? For only one
reason: this Rasta does not smoke herb.
I'm not talking about the drama's in
Trinidad, I'm not talking about the fact
that the members of the Gathering were quite
happy to see Mark Mohr leave Trinidad (after
all, he exploited Trinidad Artists among
other things), I'm not talking about the
fact that Mark Mohr "gave" the
church to that Rasta and has nothing to do
with it anymore (although still boasting in
the press about it).
I am talking about the mere fact that Mark
Mohr has no problem planting a church with a
Rasta. Being a Rasta is not the problem,
smoking weed is the problem!
You know, that is how Mark Mohr sees Messian
Dread. He knows that Messian Dread is a free
man. He knows Messian Dread is not caught in
the cage of the christian industry. He knows
Messian Dread.... smokes marijuana!
Everytime Mark Mohr thinks about me, he sees
a big fat joint. When he listens to my
music, he smells the superskunk coming out
of his speakers. He sees me having no
problem in smoking marijuana, still praising
JAH.
In his mind-set, that alone makes me a
Rasta. This is Mark Mohr: "when you
believe in JAH and call upon His NAME, and
when you smoke weed or when I say you smoke
weed, you are a Rasta of the worst kind: the
ganja-smoking kind."
Everytime Mark Mohr sees a Yesus Dread or a
Rasta who smokes weed, he considers it a
"Rastafarian Who Sacramentally Smokes
Marijuana".
For him, you can't be a Christian and smoke
weed. Those who smoke weed, are not to be
considered "true christian".
It's all about the weed.....
Now let's take a closer look to the other
gospel which is "preached".
Let's apply his standards to the market
called "lionofzion webstore". You
won't find any self-proclaimed Rastas there.
Self-proclaimed in the sense of
"calling one's self a Rasta". And
you won't find anyone there that publicly
smokes weed.
Now, this says a lot.
not only does it reveal the double standard,
where it is obvious how much more care is
put in the sales techniques then in the
"church planting" (and i wonder
what should be more important).
It says much more.
Mark Mohr sells his "gospel" with
words like these:
Christ alone is the Lord of my life.
So when I listen to a reggae song that
praises Rastafari, giving worship to
Selassie, I get convicted. My spirit does
not agree with this. I then have to ask
myself this question: if Shadrach, and his
brothers refused to bow to the false god
when the music played, why would they then
go out and buy a CD full of this same music
and listen to it daily? They wouldn't!

But what about Christian Dub artists?
Besides Christafari's one release (DUB
Sound&Power) and the ever enigmatic
Yabby You and Messian Dread, many have
searched long and hard for a true Christian
roots artist that is devoted to DUB 100% of
the time. Search no longer: introducing
Solomon Jabby, AKA "The Dub
Revelator."

I would ask: "Who is Christ to
you?" "Who is Selassie to
you?" and: "Do you smoke
ganja?" How he answered those questions
would determine whether or no I would label
him a "gospel artist" and add him
to our webstore.

Mark Mohr explained how the
"enigma's" Yabby You and Messian
Dread are not considered gospel artists.
Instead he ABUSES other artists who the
personally have to write to me that they do
not agree with mark mohr. He's selling them
with arguments like: "forget about the
ones we don't sell, here is a true christian".
So how can one possible not see how here we
have several gospels?
Let's suppose it's a good and a bad gospel
he has. I personally state that the
two gospels he brings are both corrupt, but
let's assume mark mohr sells his
reggae-gospel and preaches a true "jesus"-gospel.
His standards concerning the Jesus Gospel
are different then the Reggae Gospel. That
in itself is another indication of the
presence of SEVERAL gospels.
He plants a church with a Rasta but claims
elsewhere that Sadrach Mesach and Abednego
would surely not buy the latest CD from that
"Rasta". With one exception:
selling exceprts of the Haile Selassie
interview that can be downloaded for Free at
Ras
Tafari Sound Archive
but is SOLD at christafri marketplace for
the incredible price of 10 dollars. When
people point out to that in the loz-boards,
that they can get the interview for free,
this is deleted.
So the gospel they say they preach, the
"great witness tool" must be sold
and bought. It can not be given for free for
that is deleted by loz. People will only get
info and all that through loz. and they have
to pay money for it.
They call that "plugging gaps". It
is: creating monopoly in the market.
The Holy Spirit convinces him not to go to a
different store then the lion of zion store
(that is the obvious message in his little
selling prohecy) but the Holy Spirit doesn't
convince him of this same "herecy"
when he's "church planting"?
Much more effort in keeping the webstore
"sanctified" then a
"church"..
Two standards, for two gospels...
And it's not so, that the Holy Spirit
convinces him not to buy Rasta music because
of any "sinfull nature" of that
music, obviously.
For Mark Mohr has no problem sitting on the
front seat, enjoying the music and lyrics of
one named Amy Grant. she is a
"gospel" singer who recently left
hur husband to dive in bed with the next
man, while in the meantime recording a
"gospel" album for which she
receives many gospel industry awards.
This is a photo of the man who claims to be
the Elect of God to be the leader of
"Christian Reggae

You know, he speaks about
"slackness" and all that. But what
Amy Grant does, is adultry! Yet he has no
problem with that. No problem in wanting to
be on the first row when the false
christians give eachother praises and awards
for corrupting the true Gospel of Yesus
Kristos.
And impatiently waiting for his turn to be
on the stage, reaching the "dove"
awards. Did you know Semirames (the wife of
nimrod, the founder of babylon) means
"dove"?
No, you say probably. The Holy Spirit is the
Dove.
Oh, really?
If the Gospel which is preached needs award
ceremonies to worship the most fruitfull
preachers of that particular Gospel, and
when those awards are then named after the
Holy Spirit, you better tell me where in the
Bible it says that preachers of the Gospel
have to big themselves up in rituals where
the farisees give each other their wages...
No, you might point out to the Gathering.
That's the true gospel, after all. Planting
Churches where people can come together to
praise Messiah Yahoshuah. Yes?
Now here's the catch.
You see Mark Mohr applying all kinds of
things supposedly about the Gospel and the
Holy Spirit and no sins in music and all
that, pretending to be the holy man in that
gospel. the sales gospel. the industry. He
even claims to be the elect of god to be the
leader of what he calls "christian
reggae".
You see Mark Mohr NOT applying these things
when it comes to the gospel he DOESN't sell,
namely that of the "stop calling on JAH
and start calling on "god" gospel.
So not only has he two gospels of which one
can argueably be seen as the true Gospel, he
applies all these things to his sales gospel
which he should apply to his church gospel.
And he doesn't care about the
"church" he planted anymore.
After all, the members of that Church have
been exploited by this "dread"
from amerika. This "gathering CD"
was created without the consent of the local
artists. And they didn't like it....
So in short: Mark Mohr has two gospels. He
sells one and use the other to disguise his
true aims, which are carnal not spiritual.
