WWW, june 28, 2005 - Just a few days
prior to the publication of The Mystery
Of Christafarianism, a book that will
expose this "Gospel Reggae Cult",
Christafari has again deleted hundreds of
postings on their message board.
The move came after a visitor of the
Christafari website posted the press release
for this book on the Christafari Message
Boards. strangely, the
press release is still present.
Christafari created a lot of new message
boards, all focused around Lion of Zion and
other artists. Two newcomers are the
"Dub Revelator", an ex-online
artist now Christafarian called Solomon
Jabby. Another is "Jah Servant".
Both have recently been declared "Most
Authentic" by Christafari.
It was not the first time that Christafari
HQ has deleted postings on their fora. In
october 2004, after the first
book on Christafari was released, they did
the same.
But this time they have gone through a more
intense process.
"The fact that they deleted the
forum and not just the messages indicate
another shift in the Christafari policy",
says Messian Dread who wrote the two books
on what he calls "the cult".
"It is their aim to have the
monopoly position in the Christian
Industrial Complex in what they claim to be
Reggae Music. Having a "Rasta
Reasoning" messageboard was only to
give people an impression that
"Rastafarians were reached with the
gospel of the Christian Industrial
Complex".".
The writer makes an analogy with the
Sanctuary Movement, one of the roots of
Christafarianism. This movement made a
Church in order to get some acceptance in
the Christian World for their
"sanctified" Heavy Metal
subculture. After they gained acceptance,
they stopped presenting themselves as
missionairies and a church. In the book
"The Mystery Of Christafarianism",
this is documentated.
"It fits the pattern perfectly, and
actually I should be gratefull to
Christafari for proving my point",
Messian Dread said.
The publication of "The Mystery Of
Christafarianism", JAH Willing, starts
on July 1st, 2005.
