WWW,
April 2014 - As part of the Dubroom 2014
Website Renovation project which was
recently completed, the Dubroom's MP3 review
subsite mp3.dubroom.org has underwent a
massive upgrade in lay-out and contents.
Yes, it was
time again: too many dead links and thing.
About 200 podcasts were reviewed but only
111 remained. Too many single tracks were
gone as well, and not only because of the
demise of IODA. Artist pages removed, even
album pages.
It was time
again, also to include mp3.dubroom.org in
the new look and feel of the Dubroom. Sure,
all ads had been removed already but the
navigation and lay out was still a bit
different. This has been totally adjusted
now and mp3.dubroom.org is integrated in the
rest of the Dubroom website.
Talking
about the Dubroom website, there has also
been a significant increase in albums
released under Creative Commons Copyright,
available for download directly from the
Dubroom's Creative Commons Archives. This
means that the music is obtainable even when
the Net Labels turn down their websites.
Browsing
the names is more easy now, too. There are
sections for Net Labels, Artists and
Podcasts. Included in the pages now are
introductions to the reviews of the artists
etc and their picture. The feel you get
while browsing names, albums, podcasts or
single tracks is now all the same and
therefore more intuitive.
