DUB DOWN BABYLON
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
|
WWW, October 2008 - You'll forgive the
occasional DJ track, and not in the least
because these tracks are mixed in Dub Style
too. DUB DOWN BABYLON: one and a half hours
of stricktly drum, bass and effects straight
to the wicked one head!

No, there's no playlist available. But they're all
there: King Tubby, Phillip Smart and the rest of
the great Jamaican DUB engineers. The podcast is
in superb audio quality, and even though the
selection is limited to Jamaican DUB from the
1970's, there's a wide variety of styles
throughout the one and a half hour of the show.
DUB DOWN BABYLON, "simply" a well
balanced presentation of 1970's Jamaican DUB,
which should not miss out in any self respecting
collector of the better DUB Reggae podcasts.
Allright? Allright!
