After listening to the two-part spotlight on the
Alpha Boys School by the House of Reggae, you have
been treated to a wide variety of musical works
and a whole lot of information about this
remarkable school.
Originally founded as an orphanage with the
help of the catholic order of the Sisters of
Mercy, the school's history started well over 100
years ago and has been very influential in the
development of Jamaican music and in fact, music
all over the world.
