Jamaican Music from the last several
decades. In a very interesting mix, we are
being treated to known and -more appealing-
unknown material, carefully selected by
Brooklyn-based DJ Dr. Tahl. |

Reggae Music has the ability to absorb the
vibes-of-the-times in a way that no other music is
able to do. Toots and the Maytalls once made a
tune about it, called "Reggae got Soul",
but you can easily say that Reggae has Rock or
Reggae has Techno.
This very fact becomes clear when you listen to
the first tunes in DJ Dr. Tahl's second edition of
Podcasts he called "Mixed Up Moods".
Very soulful, very Reggae too... It was the music
of the seventies, but because Reggae is still
Reggae, the music will also appeal to young people
of today, which cannot be said about most -dated!-
Soul Music.
Mixed Up Moods Version Two simply gives us an
overview of several decades. Decades wherein
Reggae Music may have changed in presentation and
instrumentation, but not in strength and power.
Simply essential!
