ROOTS MINISTRY: MIXDOWN #6
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
|
WWW, January 2008 - For your enjoyment,
Roots Ministry's very own Papa Jason
selected 18 massive tunes for an
entertaining non-stop, no-nonsense Reggae
mix of almost one hour. |
|
|
The 6th episode in the excellent series of
Podcasts (called Mixdowns) released by the
German based Sound System predominantly features
Jamaican Music from the 1980's and late 1970's,
when Rub a Dub was the style-of-the-time.
Riddim-after-riddim, the mix gradually takes us
from the Rub a Dub era to the decade before
that. Almost each riddim is represented by an
outstanding selection of crucial tunes.
Nuff DUB, nuff DJ, nuff SINGERS AND PLAYERS
OF INSTRUMENTS too: Roots Ministry once again
ministers to the online (DUB) Reggae community
with a blessed show. |
