of previously Unreleased 1980 Bob Marley
Track Available for free download |
| Even
after his death Bob Marley remains to be an
Ikon of Freedom for the millions and
millions of sufferers world-wide. In
1980, he recorded a track which
unfortunately hasn't lost one inch of it's
meaning. It was never brought out on an
album, though. But now, twenty-five years
later, the track has been released and is
available for free download in Quicktime
Movie format. This means, that you cannot
only hear the track, but also see pictures.
Yes, a free videoclip from Bob Marley and
the Wailers!

The
track is called "Can't Take Your Slogans No
More" and it could have been written today.
And so, you
wouldn't notice the very recent pictures of
people protesting the New World Order. It's like
Bob Marley wrote this song about the situation in
2005!
And perhaps he did, as well. For if there is
one thing which illustrates Bob Marley's works,
it's raising the consciousness of people. Bob
Marley has allways been very much aware of the New
World Order, as he reads it in the Bible and sees
it with his very eyes. Tracks like this one proof
it.
LYRICS:
Can't take your slogans no more
(Repeat 4x)
Wipe off the paintings of slogans
All over the streets
Confusing the people
While your asphalt burns our tired feet.
I see borders and barriers
Segregations, demonstration, and riots
Sufferation of the refugees
Oh, when will be free?
Oh, we can't take your slogans no more
Can't take your slogans no more (Repeat 2x)
Nor no sweet talk from a pulpit
No more sweet talk from the hypocrites
I see borders and barriers
False prophet, dictators, and traitors
Demonstrating against the people
Becoming public enemy number one
Say we jo' we can't take your slogans
Can't take your slogans no more (Repeat 2x)
Oh the sweet talk from a pulpit
No more sweet talk from the pulpit
